Star Herrman, Ford Hub/MNPS. 

Ms. Herrman was one of the original founding directors of the 5-year strategic plan and the implementation of the Academies of Nashville. She has affectionately become known within the Acadmies leadership circles as "The Mother of the Academies" 

 

Dr. Jill Pittman, Overton HS Assistant Principal

Dr. Pittman is the Academy of Information Technology Prinicipal at Overton High School. She works and interacts with students on a daily basis and has played a crucial role in ensuring the healthy, productive communication, continued engagement and growth among students, parents, teachers, and business partners alike. 

 

Lucia Folk, Country Music Television (CMT)

Ms. Folk has championed the role of corporate community engagement with the Academies of Nashville. Using her role is Sr. Director for Public Affairs, Lucia and her company have made their way to the front of the pack in terms of investing time, personel, and resources into their CMT Academy of Digital Design & Communication & Center for Fine Arts at McGavock High school.
