Lucia Folk is the Senior Director of Public Affairs for CMT. CMT is a partner with McGavock High School and has naming rights for an academy. Lucia is very involved with the partnership.
Dr. Jill Pittman is an Assistant Principal at Overton High School.
Key Players
The key players in establishing the Academies of Nashville include local school, business, government and nonprofit community leaders. The Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, the Pencil Foundation and Alignment Nashville work with local businesses to assist them in partnering with neighboring academies. These are idividuals who either were intimately involved from the very beginning planning or implementation stages- responsible for researching, communicating, delegating, and working out the primary structure to the individuals today who are intamitely involved and committed to the everyday function and continued improvement and growth of the Academies.
